Hope you find a honey. I know exactly how you feel! I'm going to see a 14,3 tomorrow.. so fingers crossed for us both to get back enjoying our riding.

Marygold would be fab!!! She's related to my Jasmine. I rode her on the beach when Shantih was being a cow and I was 4 months pregnant! I even rode her in the sea! I was too scared to ride Shantih but not her!! I will dig out a pic! ;D

She looks really lovely but I wonder if I'm a bit big and also having read the advert I think perhaps she needs someone with a little more confidence/exhuberance

I shall keep my fingers crossed for you Kanga, I think that little mare last week though not suitable really gave you a reminder of how relaxing a ride can be. BJM's Blaze, even though I've only ridden her 4 times she's tipped the balance, before it was mainly panic with a little bit of excitement and a smidgeon of pleasure, now it is pleasure and excitement, I hope tomorrow goes well.

Don't forget if you want to wander down and see Dibs you're welcome, though the breeding is very differant he has a similar look and build to your new mare.

I also rode marigold on the beach the day karen did as Shantih was too fizzy, I was having a confidence crisis at the time and felt very safe on her. She was a very sweet little mare for the little bit I rode her, would jump at the chance to ride her again :-) she was very well behaved considering all the excitement around her-definitely go and see what you think of her, think she could be ideal :-) x

Loubylou after what you and Arabmare have said I'm getting really excited about seeing Marygold, but I mustn't let my heart rule my head, (already decided if Arabiangem is able to let her go ) that initially I shall put her in with Silky, assuming I get the go-ahead from BJM , she knows my ability/confidence better than anyone so will be guided by her though I am on the look out for a field shelter already, just in case ;D ;D

Marygold and me, not a partnership made in heaven, though she is heavenly, she is really lovely but at 16 years young and with loads of spirit she will make someone a really lovely forward going ride but it won't be me.
Thank you Arabiangem for letting me meet your two lovely girlies.

Thanks for coming to meet the girls. They loved the attention. And I don't know what you did to Marjorie but could you come and do it again please. She gave me an AMAZING ride after you left. SO relaxed and only one dirty spook/stop which is a record for her!
I completely understand why you felt Marygold isn't the right pony for you.

That's a shame but at least you looked :-) only end up saying 'what if' otherwise. The search continues... x
