I'm happy to announce that Ross Jacobs - one of the most interesting, thought provoking and occasionally outspoken people writing about horses online ( his blog is reliably good reading ) is teaching a single UK clinic here in Fernhurst, West Sussex from the 29th June to the 1st July. Ross has worked in a lot of different disciplines and spent a lot of time with Harry Whitney, one of the most remarkable horsemen around. If anyone is interested in coming along to ride or spectate, you can find contact and pricing details here.

Unfortunately we haven't had enough riders to run the clinic. Given that Ross already has his tickets organised, what we thought we could do is do some one-on-one lessons with him, visiting people at their yards and doing an hour's teaching for £50. So, if you didn't want to commit to a clinic but would be interested in a lesson with Ross, please let me know through this page. If you're not sure, why not have a read of his very interesting website over at goodhorsemanship.com.au - whatever you decide, he has a lot of interesting things to say about a lot of topics. I'll be trying to fix it up so when we have a few people in different areas who would like a lesson we can bunch them together and make a day of it. I'm based in the bottom corner of Surrey, right next to the Hampshire and West Sussex borders, so we'll be able to get to areas in the south east quite easiloy. It's a great opportunity for a taster session to see whether Ross' way of teaching would suit you and to get his unique view on working with your horse's thought.
