I know this is a funny place to post this and the mods may well move it but...
I am looking for a lodger ASAP. I have a nice double room to rent in my three bed cottage on the North Norfolk coast with full run of the house and use of bathroom (shower and bath), kitchen, living room and office. Well behaved cats/dogs could be a possibility as would bringing your own horse. I am a 30 minute hack from the beach.
The reason I am posting on here is that I had thought this might be a good opportunity for a keen IH student? Obviously I need a paying lodger and I am hoping for £400 a month although this is negotiable... but if someone wanted to shadow me as part of the deal then I thought this might make an attractive proposition for a keen student.
I am advertising elsewhere obviously so PM asap if interested.
Happy New Year!

I was thinking that Jen about the horse holiday idea. There is a place on the Holkam estate that charges £400 a week self catering plus livery and is 20 mins from beach. Perhaps that would be an idea as well? They could even have their horse trained whist there!
Great opportunity for someone though ;D

Thanks guys, all good ideas and yes I have also thought about the holiday possibilities - obviously there are pros and cons and tax issues with all of it. But I am open to suggestions!
Specialized - £400 pcm seems to be the going rate round here - I have done my homework!
I'm hoping LizP might come on here to verify that I am house trained and don't bite (often)!!

Well, I can say that Bridget is one of the most lovely people I know and is a real joy to watch with horses. I personally have never seen her biting...
Her house is GORGEOUS!!! Fab location and so comfy and tasteful inside.
£400 a month isn't far off the mark for this neck of the woods. It's what our cleaners (who are staying with us) have been looking at paying for some dingy little student type room, so that for the run of a stunning cottage isn't that bad.
