When Monty I were there we promised to buy them a new wheelbarrow. Does anyone have any suggestions for a great mail order wheelbarrow that's particularly good in MUD?!

I like the look of this model maislow, with the cut away front it looks easy to tip and unload. www.jfcuk.com/WheelBarrows.html#panel4 That might be my next pressie to myself when I've saved up.

Robinsons do a similar version to the one Maislow suggested, I really like those, they're huge so you can get loads in but they're well balanced so not too heavy when full. Two wheels are good in mud as you're less likely to wobble and tip out the contents by accident!
They also do one the same as Liz suggested but at roughly double the price! Those ones aren't as hardy, they seem to fall apart a bit too easily.

I have a Chillington Camden wheelbarrow from B&Q. It handles great, is sturdy (metal tub) and has become the favourite poo-picking wheelbarrow in the field. Can't say as it has any major advantages over other models when it comes to mud, but the Chillington customer service is ace. I lost the screw bolt through the wheel axis, and they sent me one free of charge within a day :-)

I bought a large green wheelbarrow from B & Q 20 years ago and its still going strong! Admittedly my dad has done a spot of welding, but it has seen a LOT of mud and is easy and light to move around.

I don't have a posh wheelbarrow - but watching the Teenage Horse Whisperer about Shy Lowen I can sympathise with the amount of mud it has to cope with! Made me think I'd got no problems!
