Probably too late now, but I've just seen this. I have used quite a few over the years, and the only one I would recommend is Roger from Ingatestone Saddlery.
Why? Well before I went treeless with my TB he was the only saddle fitter who spent about an hour with me trying lots of saddles, but refused to sell me anything because nothing he had would fit my boy properly! If that isn't a great recommendation, I don't know what is!
I then bought a saddle from him a few years later for my mare, and because I have a sharer I bought an identical make and model saddle for my sharer to use from a forum at a fraction of the cost new.
Many saddle fitters I know can be quite snotty about fitting a saddle they didn't sell you, particularly a second hand one - but Roger checked the fit when he came out to check the saddle he sold me, and told me what a great bargain I had found.
Can't praise him enough. ;D

Thanks Sarah, just saw this.
I've heard good things about roger. Now to decide if I'm sticking with a tree or not... My current saddle fits, I've just never liked it very much... Daft really. Anyway, pony has decide to spend my money on trailer hire for loading practice so new saddle might have to wait a bit longer...
Mr Bachelor from Epping has checked the current saddle as he does several on the yard but I can't afford his prices for new!

Just to add, I totally agree with Sara - Roger has done a great job fitting 3 saddles for me and checking/adjusting them. Would highly recommend him. He takes a lot of time and there is no pressure to buy unless you are 100% happy. He even travels to Suffolk
