Suffolk Coastal MP Therese Coffey is holding a public meeting to discuss the Government's proposal to sell off forests.
The meeting is to be held on Friday 11th Feb at Rendlesham Community Centre, Walnut Tree Avenue, Rendlesham, Nr Woodbridge, from 5pm to 6pm
It is really important that all of us who feel strongly about this make an effort to attend, even if only for 10 mins or so. If we do not make our views clear at this stage, we have no hope of influencing the governments decision making process, and will lose the forests forever.
Whilst I fully understand the current economic situation, selling off the country's stock of wealth (forests) in order to compensate for past mismanagement of the economy smacks of a poorly thought out, knee jerk proposal. If we can make it clear how strongly local people feel about this proposal, we can make a difference
Really hope to see you there ;D ;D ;D
