to get your attention.
Have just got up to let Harry our black and white cat in. How did I know he wanted to come in? He jumps up and hangs on the door knob!
Molly the ginger cat sits on the window sill and rattles her foot at the window making a tapping sound.
Lulu the black stray that found us scratches at the door.
Bella our Staffie, just sits and makes noises.
I think I have been very well trained by all of them PMSL.

As a kid I had a dog that I rescued from the canal.... bout 6 weeks n just bin chucked in there n left.... anyway, he was outside the front door one day waiting to be let in and accidentally caught the knocker bit of the letterbox (at the bottom of the door). The door was opened and clever little doggie remembered it and ever after that used to go straight up to the front door and knock, just the once, to be let in. We all knew that a single knock was Bobby asking to be let in.............quite amusing when people did a one knock and someone went to the door saying 'come on in you daft dog' as they were opening it and trying to explain to the person outside that the dog really did knock on the door. lol. He definitely had us well trained.

my bils cat scratches the leather chair arm so when he does it they throw him out, although it has had the reverse effect cos now if he wants to go out he just scratches the chair lol

Awwwww, don't be upset Gwennie........ c'mon you lot, get postin!!!
Oh by the way Gwen, Aero's new trick is that he gets his lead rope in his mouth if it's clipped on the dually ring and can undo the clip in a flash..........then he stands still whilst you walk off with lead rope and no horse......... I've had to start clipping it to the ring under his chin so he can't reach it.

You've lost me there, aero What I meant was that she acts in a manner not unlike Simon's Cat in the cartoon. I'm going to have to hide my cricket bat
