Hi it's been a while since I last posted, life's been a tad hectic... I found a lady with similar age foal to Jenson needing weaning company and shipped both Fire and Jenson to her yard (which is 2.5 miles from home!!) Now Fire back home I'm doing 2 horses on 2 yards with a 1 year old baby in tow, must be mad 
For a week boys and mummys where turned out in paddocks next door to each other, Fire was very very protective for first few days and kept Jenson in a far corner away from the other horses.After a week she got a little more chilled and they were all turned out together in big paddock, Flames mummy went down with Lami so he was weaned and Fire nannying both boys ( whic she wasn't impressed at all, ones enough!!)
Last sunday it was Jensons turn to loose his mummy, in the afternoon we brought them all in and walked Fire out of the barn and straight into trailer, she only whinnied once she was in the trailer and little when we got back home.
Jenson shouted for 10 mins and 1 hour later was fast asleep
Here few pictures of Jenson and Flame together in the same paddock for the first time, please note headcollars where only on for the first 15 mins as it was bit of a chaos... And before anyone mentions I do not personally agree rugging foals, hence in the pics Jenson is the naked one!

Oh Jenny he looks great --------------see what I mean about mares being fed up with their boys 
I cannot wait until the fields are safe to take Darcy away. She has WELL had enough
