What do other owners of giants do for neck covers? I have a 7'o Rambo Duo with removable neck cover that isn't big enough and just bought a 7'3 off ebay and its too short and the velcro just stood there and laughed at me!! Do other peeps find this?

Lloyd is between a 7' and a 7'3, and has a premier equine rug and the neck cover is perfect, and the rug is only a 7'

Premier Equine are generously sized on the detachable neck covers but the integral ones are often too short for big horses (think Steve posted about this last week?) I have the opposite problem: small cob with short fat neck Her neck covers always end up covering her ears and make a convenient rain - hat!

I have also put a premier equine neck cover on the rambo rug as the neck cover which came with the rambo was too short - same two velcro attachments. I bought a premier equine neck cover of the sale page for £7.99 about a month ago to use with a swish rug (another good rug)

I have an Amiego fly rug that has a neck for Apollo, its a 7ft and the neck fits great. Do they do turnout rugs too? I don't know, as he does have one lol!

Horses don't need neck covers ( not even the thinnest skinned TB's ) they ruin their manes and are not necessary . As long as they are warm over their backs chest and loins that's all that matters.

My Premier Equine rug is the 'detachable' one, and so is Austins, and both barely do up around their necks! They would be long enough if it weren't for the elastic!! If they move their heads, up down etc, the neck cover moves back and stays back because of the blinking elastic!! Plus their manes are slowly dissapearing, so I am tending to agree that neck covers are bad news!!
Casper was always clipped and he never had a neck cover until recently, but being a grey they are a Godsend!!

Gordo - I have a Masta neck cover you can have if you like. It was used on my Massive Shire X who I sadly lost this year and it is no longer needed.
I am planning to take all my old stuff from my big man and my old TB (Lost both this year very sad) to The horse trust in Buckingham and still will as soon as the weather settles down. But happy to rehome some bits to good homes.
Its Black by the way...

haha!! If my bf didnt moan so much i dont think i would bother shaving my legs much in winter, its an extra layer of warmth haha!! Decided i better start brushing my hair, and my mum cut it, it was getting into big matts underneath, yuk! It is however, a birds nest over weekends, complete with bits of mud, hay and horse food!
