Black Mountains IH Recommended Associate John Jones said today he would be 'honoured' to present the £2,160 cheque to the Lluest Trust www.Lluesthorseandponytrust.org.uk raised by the 'brilliant DGers'. We shall look forward to seeing some nice photos and perhaps John will have a chance to advise on a pony or two while he's with them. In the fund raising effort our biggest thanks must go to OUR BEYOND BRILLIANT CHARITY ORGANISER, Lorraine Luke, for inspiring so many others. Monty presented the remaining amount due to the Lambourn RDA while they were in their midst of their 'Biggest Riding Lesson in the World' day. Everyone was very pleased to see him.  Aww thank you but as i always say, i get the easy part, just looking after the purse ;D I look forward to seeing the photos of Monty with RDA and John with Lluest. Everyone did a fabulous job again last year and i hope that both charities benefit hugely from such wonderful and generous people involved in IH. Well done all of you

I am Honoured to present the cheque to the Lluest Horse & pony Trust as I know how hard you have all worked raising funds, with great ideas like the ride round Britain, The Trec Competition, auctions and more. Fantastic well done everyone (including Pie) for helping such worthy causes.
Will keep you updated on my visit to the Trust in the Listening Post.

On behalf of the Lluest Horse and Pony Trust I can say that I am truly honoured in the way that people have dug deep in to their pockets during these difficult times in order to help us to help the under priviledged equines that pass through our gates.
They, as well as, myself, my groom, Trustees and all the volunteers thank you all very much.
We also look forward to seeing John here and entertaining him!

We went to the Lluest Trust yesterday and you will all be pleased to know the cheque was very gratefully received. A lovely lady from accounts was there and took it straight to the bank  So now all your hard work fund raising will be going towards helping to secure the future of horses and ponies who desperately need help. Thank you to Adrian and Pauline for taking the time to show us round the center (and the cup of tea ;D) their dedication and passion to continue to improve the Trust for the resident horses and ponies and the ones they rescue was clear to see. Lluest is definitely a much needed place and it was great to see happy horses & ponies after having been through tough times. It was indeed a great pleasure to meet John and the lovely lady with the camera, sorry I missed your name!
All of your hard earned money will indeed be used for the welfare of the animals we have now and over the winter months. We are indebted to everyones hard work in order for us to receive this money from you.
Even today, out of the blue, we had to call the vet for a very serious and sudden allergic reaction of one of the ponies to something. He was in a bad way for a time but is well on the road to recovery.
It was a pleasure to show what we have here and what we wish to do for the animals here now and in the future. We are very proud of what we do here and what we achieve on what is fairly limited finances.
Again, on behalf of myself, the animals and the volunteers at Lluest I thank each and everyone of you for your hard work and enterprise.
