“Thank you
Hi Sue, I want to thank you for the wonderful work you did with my horse Jasper in teaching him to overcome his fear of loading.
He is transformed!
On Friday we went out for our first outing, just a short one to my instructor's yard. He was perfectly behaved the whole time. Travelled well, calm when we arrived and loaded himself to come home.
Yesterday we went out with a friend for a sponsored ride and Jasper even helped the other horse load by being so calm and just loading himself....!!! Unbelievable.
I can't thank you enough. My view of the world has totally changed now that the world of equestion activities is open to us too...we can't wait to get out to rides, clinics, and even some competing.
I will recommend you to everyone I know, in particular those having problems of any kind with their horses.
Thank you again,
Lucy & Jasper”

“I wanted to say thank you yesterday for your lovely calm way and your genuine concern and interest in Minnie and I to see our mounting problem overcome, but thought I had better wait until we had done it on our own. Well today we did it on our own, with absolutely no problems on Minnie's part at all, it was me to start with, I could not quite bring myself to get on immediately so went through the stages again, then did it no fuss the second time, felt totally elated and emotional all over again. We went on to do it 3 more times, in fact I could have sworn Minnie took me to the mounting block for the last lot of polo's. I cannot say how pleased I am and how grateful I am to you for your help, don't want to be too mushy, but you know what I mean! It seems a long way from when I was laying in the hospital thinking my riding days are over, this fall has ruined everything and even thought I should sell Minnie (briefly of course). Nothing is ruined though, all this means is that I don't have to worry about mounting Minnie anymore like I used to before the accident, I know what to do because you have shown me, getting a new saddle, plus Minnie will get her back massaged and I'm blimen broke :-) A BIG THANK YOU and see you soon. Best Wishes Karen & Minnie”

"Hi Sue and Simon, wanted to say thanks for last Sunday's course. It was brilliant and with the practical sessions and handouts I already feel really confident working on my two horses. They both love the massage and stretches and are getting really good at the stretches already. Even George is managing to do the hind leg stretches and his 'shivering' is much less. He was able to do leg yielding today much more easily than ever before. Can you give me some guidance as to how to get some qualifications in horse massage, sports massage, stretches, etc as I'd really like to be able to work with other people's horses" AB

"Thankyou for the massage course today, really enjoyed the practical. I went straight home and practiced on my boy, he is sooo grateful to you for teaching me some new techniques, he totally went to sleep on me and his eyes were almost closed. I was surprised at how well he could do the side stretch of the front legs and will carry this on with the front stretch I already used. I will be using the schedule regularly and especially the pectoral bit before girthing up as it really got him to relax. Do let me know if you are doing any future courses." HL

"Hi Sue Just to let you know I had my lesson today & it went much better than I hoped. D couldn't see anything untoward in her movement at all. (tho she did start curling her tongue up!) She certainly felt a lot looser generally and didn't hang on the left rein. Here's hoping it continues. (She's not as compliant at the leg stretches for me as she was for you...!!!)"

"Hi Sue, just an update on R, she was amazing tonight! Only got her belly and right up by the top of her neck to do! I did under her belly going with the hair as it was just a lot easier! She even let me move the skin around her elbow to clip." RK

I have regular sessions fo both myself and my horse every 6 weeks and I would now say that it is an essential part of my horses routine and keeps him working at Grand Prix with ease! Thank you Sue!!!” Leonie Smith, Grand Prix dressage rider, www.daneswooddressage.com
