Very sad. The kids just saw me looking at him and said, "ooh mum, is that another horse you want to save?" Gullible, reckless, soft touch. Moi? Bless him, glad he's not near me, I'm such a sucker. Could be a reason they keep him 'poor', ie so they can do what they like without him objecting. Poor thing, looks sweet.

He looks like a nice natured horse that has had a lot to put up with in his short life so far. I hope he finds a nice home.

He looks like hes desperate for some proper love and affection, its like hes withdrawn into himself to try to escape what he has to put up with. If I lived nearer Id be round there with my cheque book

He looks doped to me in the first pics; reminds me of how my yearlings have looked following castration, before the sedative has worn off. That almost drunk look, really having to concentrate on each leg before attempting to move it.
Under saddle he looks a bit edgy. There's a story there, and I don't think it's a particularly pleasant one for this poor gee. I do hope his life improves.

Oh bless the poor lad - why on earth would you put a photo up of him having a pooh??!!!!
Never ceases to amaze me the rubbish pics people post up. He does look a little sad, but it is a moment in time and he does look rather roughed off.
Does make me want to give him a huge dose of TLC though!

I know. If he were close by and not 150 miles away over icy roads... who knows. I'll call in a week to check on him.

Resignation Pain Flat, disinterested, poor condition
Such a sad looking chap; needs 6 months unridden in a huge field with friends, handling and groundwork only, then start breaking from scratch.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeet. I wish I was the right person to do that right now. I keep looking at the ad. I know he's one of many, but it still keeps me up nights.

Haven't read others but I get back issues, arthritis in lower limbs and a lot older than listed. A totally wrecked beast the poor thing. Off to read other comments now.
