When Jack met Dixie .......... ;D Ok, so firstly, Jack has been soooooo naughty yesterday and today, i`m really shocked, i`m hoping its just the excitement of christmas, but he has been downright rude and obnoxious, to the point he very nearly didn`t get introduced to Dixie !!!!!!!! When we got up there they were all going mad, turns out there`d been an early morning shoot on, and it had unsettled them, it does worry me when they get so anxious, but i suppose there isn`t a lot i can do about it. Anyhow, here`s a first hand account of how it went: (please excuse the loudness of the first word "LOOK" the video, he was playing on his PSP and the world could end and he wouldn`t notice .... so it had to sound dramatic to get his attention lol) Back at home, we find we have a whole grooming kits and a saddle from Santa: And this was a quick walk around on her today:

Really sweet pics Daisy, looks like a day to remember. They look sweet together, best friends in the making He will never forget that, me and my sisters had a pony for Christmas about 25 years ago and it was the start of an addiction ;D

What a lovely present and a gorgeous young man . What size is she Daisy, just out of curiosity? The shoots are a grand way of bomb-proofing. I've learned to welcome it as my lot don't even bother anymore. Someone discharged a full up rifle behind a hedge when I was leading Flynn last month and he was superb. My child is suffering PCN too (post Christmas naughtiness).... 'I'm going to tear off my clothes and tear you to pieces' she yelled yesterday. Lovely... . No TV, no computer, she's reduced to the indoor helicopter.

What a very lucky little boy! Well done for recording the event, it's so easy to forget to use the camera, even you've remembered to take it with you.

Thanks all so much, she is fast becoming an excellent bargaining/bribery tool lolol !! He is completely in love with her, and just keeps hugging her and following her around telling her how much he loves her, and she keeps just resting her muzzle on him and he chatters away to her, its really really wonderful to watch ... as much as Jack now has his own pony, Dixie now has her very own little boy Hiya Kya .... I think the PCN is a build up of weeks of having to be good as "Santa" is watching ... once he`s been the pressure is released in some serious attitude for a few days lol, they just seem to have a massive blow out of naughtyness !! I know i shouldn`t laugh and i`m only chilled out now as his Grandad is having him tonight ..... **child free for the night, whoop whoop**, but the stress will begin again tomorrow, i find taking the computer away normally works wonders Dixie is supposed to be 13.1hh (more like 13hh) but very, very stocky, i`ve ridden her and sat on her and i`ve got plenty of neddy under me, if fact i feel like i`m sat on more Horse on her than i do on my Lottie lolol !!! But by the same token Jack doesn`t look too out of place on her, and Dixie is happy enough to mantle about as and where Jack asks her too. She`ll still need leading and school work for a while, but the beginnings are already in place. Heres a pic of me sat on her in the field, (disclaimer for those who feel they have to post .... yes i know i didn`t have a hat on, yes i know its dangerous, yes i know it only takes once, yes i know life is precious BUT its not a regualr thing)

He's what age Daisy? Sorry this is off topic, but interesting from my pony shopping perspective and the parenting!! I'm trying not to raise my voice and to be consistent, but OMG, it's hanging on by the fingernails. If my mother just looked at us our blood froze. I can't believe these kids for nerve.

You and me both Kya ..... my mum had "The Look" and by heck if you got it you ran for your life with your hands covering your backside for good measure lolol .... If i give Jack "The look" he rolls his eyes at me .... whats that all about ? ? ?
My Jack is 5 years old (6 in march), but he`s tall for his age, he`s just in to age 7-8 clothes .
