The IHRA Showcase is a forum dedicated to the hard working Recommended Associates of Intelligent Horsemanship. Shortly they will be populating their individual forums with information on themselves, case studies and much more so you can get a real feel for who they are and what they do. For a full list of Recommended Associates please click on this linkIt is locked to public posting unless authorisation is given by the moderators.

Please can Julia have her name up too? I know she doesn't come on here (much/at all?) but perhaps she could be persuaded to let someone else put her stories up. It would be a shame not to remind folk where she is!

Thanks, mandal. I have to say I've had my ups and downs with horse ownership, but never as much as that. Thank goodness!

Good luck Scrumpy!!!
Reading your latest post Liz I became aware that some may well argue that a different approach may work. More and more I'm feeling that generally horses once they understand and trust us to even a small degree will willingly co operate and I think when things go wrong, too often the physical side is ignored, so my fingers are well and truly crossed for you all.

Fingers firmly crosse for Suze and Samson. Hope a vet willing to investigate is found soon.
I agree horses do try so hard even when they're really sore.

You're so amazingly supporting, mandal.... Yes, I have my fingers very firmly crossed for Samson. Watching him soften to Bridget was lovely. There's one super horse in there.
