Its only the forum, eden, the site will still be there. Such a shame, but having had a lot of problems with my own forum some time ago, I can understand Max and Sam's decision, but a shame nonetheless as it was one of the only other ones which was really friendly and the members were truly real horse lovers!

That is a pity, I went on from time to time and never saw any nastiness at all, in fact everyone was more frielndly on there than on here even though they were the same people.

There is now an alternative started by the members of the exising one. Someone seems to have been spiteful to Sam and Max via PMs - I hope they are proud of themselves.
http://horses2themax.proboards.com/index.cgi it won't have contributions by the Maxwells though sadly.

That would seem to be a reasonable suggestion Maislow. I don't understand why someone would be spiteful enough to abuse the hospitality offered via the forum, or otherwise.

I hope Max and Sam will be OK. They certainly don't deserve this kind of treatment. Some people really should hang their head in shame!

Absolutely CD. It's always been a great Forum and to think of people abusing Sam and Max like this is horrible.

I simply do not understand some people. Why on earth would anyone want to be spiteful to Sam and Max. It really beggars belief. I'm so pleased to hear that a subscription forum will go ahead. I don't post often but do follow the forum fairly regularly. I've especially enjoyed the EE reports.
