A friend of mine is trying to rehome her son's horse - he had a motorcycle accident as is no longer able to ride. She's been trying to sell him for most of the year. He did go on LWVTB, but had to come back, through no fault of his own. She now just wants to find him a good home but doesn't want anything for him, although she does have some nice tack she's willing to sell! He's fifteen with no health issues at all. He's about 16 hands, chestnut, lovely looking horse. He was sold to her as a TB, but he's branded, and after a bit of research it seems he's a Bavarian Warmblood, but we don't know anything more about his breeding. He's fine with other horses, happy to be stabled, travels well. He's done some jumping, both XC and SJ, hacks out 'n' all that. He's not a novice ride - he's pretty forward going but not stupidly so, you just need to know what you're doing! He's currently shod, though he had a holiday with me in the summer and I took his shoes off, and he didn't suffer for it. Here he is: He's based just outside Bristol. Feel free to PM me if you want more info! Thanks - I'd love to find him a lovely DG home!

Wow, he is the identical twin of my friend's horse!! He's Polish. I'm sitting on my hands like Jen, lol! Unless they make days suddenly have 48 hrs I just don't have time, sadly Hope he finds a super home soon. How is the lad who had the accident?

LOL! There's a lot of hand-sitting going on around here then! I know what you mean Blazesmum - if I didn't have so many already I'd have him! The lad is OK - it's been over a year since he had his accident. They've been holding on to Rio in the hope that he will be able to ride him again, but he's recovered as much as he's ever going to, and he may be alright to plod around gently, but Rio's not like that unfortunately! Monkey, PM'd you back
