Apart from Happy Hoof, Dengie Alfalfa A Lite and Speedi beet.. What others are there to choose from?
Is there a pasture mix that is endorsed by the Lami Trust??

Not sure if any mix will be endorsed as they are inherently more sugary. www.laminitis.org/approval.html scroll down to the bottom of this page for the ones they approve of.

Dengie also make Hi Fi Lite and Healthy Hooves. My sister's pony has a mixture of these because the Hi Fi Lite is boring food, the Healthy Hooves has little pellets in and is a bit more interesting. It's quite pricey though, I think she pays £13.40 a bag.

If you're looking for something a bit more interesting than plain chaff try D&H Safe & Sound, it's a mix of chaff, pellets and nuggets plus herbs. It doesn't have the Lami Trust mark because it costs £30,000 a year to get and the criteria is not that strict anyway, so D&H decided not to bother. It has the same combined sugar & starch as Happy Hoof, though both of these products are higher than Hifi Lite.

Same with other feed companies.. so there are other feedstuffs out there that meet the needs of laminitics that don't have the Laminitis Trust mark on them. Both Cool Condition cubes and Fibre Plus cubes from Top Spec are very low starch and sugar.
