Lizpurlo has once again very generously donated a beautiful example of her work to raise funds for our charity of the year - HorseWorld. I'd like to start a silent auction for this lovely item. Anyone interested please PM me with the amount you're willing to pay for it and put "Sculpture Auction" in the subject line. The auction will close on 15th August and I will not open any PM's of that title until 16th August when I will announce the winner and contact them regarding payment and delivery. 100% of the money raised will go to Horseworld so please dig deep! Michelle, I'll pm you with a reserve price, and will buy it in for that if no-one outbids me.

It's very cute. Tell me more about you, your inspiration for this please and what it's made from so I can judge a bid. Thank you

Thank you cookie - you'll find my 'sculpture exhibition' stickied at the top of this board with lots of info..... this model isn't of one specific pony, but it's based on a Welsh Section A mare and is one-tenth scale. It measures ten and a half inches long and about six and a half inches high. It's cast in resin, as are all my models, and painted by Simon Jameson who is a professional artist and works with acrylics and air brush. It's one of a limited edition of 50, of which this is number 10 - signed on the base. I've just sold two to Australia, along with ten other assorted sculptures - they're great Welsh Pony fans out there and buy a lot of my work.
I'm selling these mare and foal models for £199. As I produce only small limited editions of 50 which sell out fast, they are becoming collectable and should eventually increase in value.

Thank you to everyone who bid, but none of the bids made the reserve that Liz asked we set so we will be thinking up another fundraising idea for the sculpture
